This is the home for my Byzantine Generals comics. The "Byzantine General" problem is a problem in computer science in how to deal with incorrect or incomplete information - while still operating reliably, and is a facet of distributed ledger technology.

The debate about the SAVE Act requiring voter ID in federal elections has revealed some extreme nonsense in some states such as Minnesota where one person can just "vouche" for up to eight other people. Which we are reliably told, is totally not abused.
